There&#8217;s data to analyze, a strategy to determine, topics to select, goals to analyze. By the time the writing actually occurs, a lot of hours would have been spent discovering all the details. The writing is easy in comparison.<\/p>\n<p>That being said, we don&#8217;t use AI to do any writing, nor do we recommend that anyone do that. However, we have learned that it can really enhance the process of preparing to write. Here&#8217;s some insights into how we&#8217;ve found that AI can enhance content marketing:<\/p>\n<h3>Assist with Creating the Strategy<\/h3>\n<p>There&#8217;s a lot that goes into a content strategy, but the crux of it is that the strategy needs to align with the goals of the company. Once the end goal is really understood, the topics should align with it. You can absolutely use AI to help you flesh out the nuances of the content strategy. Here&#8217;s a look at how:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Marketing Research &#8211; <\/strong>You can use market research tools that are powered by AI so that you can get a feel for the existing state of your industry.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Audience Insights<\/strong> -AI can assist you with diving deep into understand your audience demographics. You need to understand these in order to craft content that resonates.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Competitor Analysis<\/strong> &#8211; There are also some AI-powered tools that can help with competitor analysis &#8211; another crucial component to developing a content strategy.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Keyword Research &#8211;<\/strong> You can use AI to help analyze data, suggest different keywords, and you can even use keyword research tools that incorporate AI.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>While AI shouldn&#8217;t be used to actually create the strategy, that should be done by a human, but the goal here is to use AI to enhance the process of gathering the right data to create a competent strategy to align with the business goals.<\/p>\n<h3>Help Brainstorming Topics<\/h3>\n<p>Using AI to help brainstorm topic ideas can really save a lot of time and improve the quality of the titles. You can have AI analyze content snippets and use it to generate topics that way. You can also use it to generate topics that align with the sales cycle, which is a useful tool because it helps expand the breadth of topic coverage. You need to give your audience a reason to revisit your website before they ultimately buy from you, and a comprehensive content strategy means that there&#8217;s something for everyone.<\/p>\n<p>You can use AI to generate a giant list of topics within minutes. However, we don&#8217;t recommend you take these topics at face value, as they are written. While this initial topic brainstorm can save a lot of time, you should still mine the topics and adjust the titles to suit the strategy you&#8217;ve developed, get it to better connect with your audience, and make them even better.<\/p>\n<p>AI, when paired with a human touch, is a winning combination. it can be used to enhance your content strategy by assisting with the prep work.
